SEPTEMBER ADVENTURES: LABOR DAY

I was horrible about taking pictures on our labor day weekend adventures. We went to Ty's parents property and spent the day there Saturday. The kids went up with Grandma and Grandpa the night before, so we thought the drive there would be pleasant. Well the dog thinks the slippery console is his spot in the car so even though he had the whole back seat to himself he insisted on sitting in between Ty and I the whole way there! Haha.
We had a lot of fun! We made tin foil dinners for lunch, played on the four wheelers, went fishing and played in the Pedal boat! We also found a strange looking bug... one of the only things I took a picture of all day. haha. It's hard to see in the picture but we had a beautiful view of the Tetons while on the four wheeler!
Monday we went to the baseball game! We had tickets for the credit union suite which is the best way to watch the game. My kids can watch cable tv when they are tired of the game so I can actually stay for the whole game! Haha.

SEPTEMBER ADVENTURES: RANDOM PICTURES

Jay's picture made it on the board at Garcia's so he got a free kid's meal! One time a long long time ago one of the kids had a foot long french fry to which I of course took a picture of. Ever since then every time Jay gets a large fry he begs me to take a picture. Lol. We have had some absolutely beautiful sunsets this month. I love Idaho sunsets!!! There are a million praying mantises out where we are building our house. We naturally want to take a picture every time we see one, but I'm thinking the coolness may wear off soon. Lol. And last but not least, it is zucchini season so my parents come home to strange things taped to the mailbox or left on the front porch.

SEPTEMBER ADVENTURES: JUICING APPLES

We juiced a kajillion apples at Ty's parents house. I think we have enough juice to last us a few years at least. Haha. A lot of people came to help and brought apples of their own as well. It was a good time! We brought pears as well and made some delicious pear juice! Yum!

SEPTEMBER ADVENTURES: GRANDMA'S BIRTHDAY DINNER

We all got together again for Grandma's birthday about a week later!

SEPTEMBER ADVENTURES: FAMILY PICTURES

We had a good time getting pictures done in September! My friend Jody Hansen took pictures for us. I'll get them posted in a separate post, but we went to her in laws farm and the pretty ladies in dresses just wanted to get down and dirty playing in the rocks and haystacks. Haha. The littlest little lady didn't cooperate as much as we had hoped but we managed to get a few good ones. Haha. There always has to be at least one in the group. Pretty sure its a rule! Lol.
We went to Big Juds afterwards to celebrate surviving another year of group pictures! Haha. I love spending time with my family! It's always a good time!

SEPTEMBER ADVENTURES: SOCCER

Soccer was in full swing come September! With two in soccer every evening and Saturday morning is consumed with soccer soccer soccer. I'm not sure what we will do when we have 3 in it next year! AHHHHH!

CRYSTAL TURNS 10

Crystal turned 10!!! Or as Ty likes to say it was his 10th Daddiversary and my 10th Mommiversary. We have officially been parents for 10 years! I wish I felt like I had figured out what I was doing after 10 years, but I still feel like I'm just winging it most of the time. Haha. This year Crystal wanted to do an Excape Room for her birthday so we just let her invite a couple of people since it's super expensive! They had fun though! For her dinner we went to Texas Roadhouse and we had cake and ice cream with family to celebrate as well. She actually had a soccer game on her birthday so all these activities took place throughout the week of her birthday.... birthdays are becoming more like birthweeks and birthmonths these days. Haha.
