MOLLUSCUM

Well I almost just deleted these but decided it's a part of our lives so I might as well add it in. One weekend this month Jay had a bump on his leg develop what looked very frighteningly like a bullseye. I was so worried it was a tick and worse a sign of Lyme disease. He had been struggling with molluscum so we thought that's all it was. But then it looked like this! We took him in to see Ty's cousin (our doctor) the next day and they assured us it was just a very irritated molluscum. PHEW! As annoying as this molluscum has been I was very glad it wasn't something more!

CHLEO

This very large dog is very good and fitting in small corners and then avoiding eye contact, so she can pretend she isn't in the way at work. She makes me laugh!

CRYSTAL'S BIRTHDAY

Happy birthday to Crystal! She is now 11! She had a palindrome birthday this year 9/19/19! Dad was out of town and we had soccer games and practices on her actual birthday but we were sure to celebrate all weekend long. When we finally got home on her birthday, we had boxed mac n cheese (her favorite) for dinner and sang some karaoke! She got a cotton candy maker from us for her birthday! So we made some cotton candy this weekend!
For her party she went with a few friends and cousins to Flips Open Gym. I think they all had a good time and we did cake and ice cream at home!

SALT LAKE CITY

Ty came with me on Thursday the 12th to Utah with my parents and brothers for my mom's surgery. We all waited in the waiting room for 9 hours while they did a surgery to remove her cancer. I may someday write more about it. I hope that I do. But as much as I think about what I would say, the right words just haven't come yet. The important part is that it was successful and as of right now Grandma is cancer free! However it was a very long recovery, so Monday morning my brother, Tyler and I made a day trip to SLC to visit her. She was still incoherent but I'm glad we went so we could visit with my dad for a few hours. While we were gone though chaos was breaking lose at home and little Zoey ended up with blood everywhere. I can't remember the details but it involved Crystal, her hoverboard, and possibly a stroller. Haha. I was grateful Aunt Maddie was willing to watch the kids so I could go visit my parents though.

LIGHT UP HELMET

Jay is never out when it's dark enough for his helmet to light up. He begged to go ride his bike in the driveway just so he could use his lights!

EARLY BIRTHDAY GIFT

Crystal got spoiled a little early this year. Grandma was going in for a very serious surgery and wanted Crystal to get her present before they left to Salt Lake City for it. She got a hoverboard that she had been asking for. Always spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa!

OFFSPRING CONCERT

Ty and I went to see Offspring at the fair this year. It was fun but I've decided I'm too old for the standing only area and will now be buying grand stand seating for fair concerts. Haha. We also took the kids another night but I apparently didn't take any pictures at all. I am getting worse that this taking pictures thing.

SCHOOL 2019-2020

It's that time again already! We had a fun summer but it's time for my babies to go back to school. It's always bittersweet. Especially with me working full time now, I feel like we didn't get to do all the things I wanted to, but we definitely had a lot of fun!

The day before school started all the kids got fresh hair cuts! Crystal got hers cut short! Then later that night we went to meet the teachers. I don't know why I didn't get a picture of Crystal at back to school night. I tend to forget to pull my phone out for pictures. Whoops.

Jay is in 1st grade, Lily 3rd grade and Crystal 5th grade. Jay is all alone at Jefferson this year since Lily gets to go to the big kid elementary school across the street with Crystal this year. It's okay since they all still ride the bus together at least! Here's to a new school year!

(I'm way behind and am typing this a year later ... little did these sweet smiles know, this school year was going to have a crazy twist that NO ONE could possibly see coming. The beginning of a crazy world that I'm not sure will ever go back to normal.)
