Aloha!

During the two days of 70 degree weather last week, I took the opportunity to dress Crystal in one of her outfits that Grandma and Grandpa Gordon brought her back from Hawaii! I knew the warmth wouldn't last long so I had to take advantage! (We do have nice 7 month pictures that Ty took of her but they are still on the camera so I'll have to post them another day ... hopefully soon)!

Easter!

It has taken a while but better late than never right! Here are pictures from Easter this year. Crystal was more interested in the grass in the Easter basket than she was any of the stuff that the Easter bunny left her! The cat was more interested in her new toys than she was! Hehe!
She was able to find an egg at the easter egg hunt ... it only entertained her for a few moments before she got bored with it!

The Park!

Well we had a few days of warmth a couple of weeks ago and since Crystal's favorite thing to do is sit outside, we decided to take her to the park. (We actually just went to the school a few blocks from our house so that we could walk). We put her in the stroller and piled some blankets on her (it was really only about 50-55 degrees outside). We made sure the camera was packed and off we went!
It was one of those days where it was nice in the sun but the second you crossed shade it was freezing ... not to mention the wonderful Idaho wind. So other than a slightly cold face the walk to the school was quite pleasant!
When we got there Ty immediately took her to see the fun toys to play on.

She wasn't all to sure about the slide!

She really wasn't sure about going down without being in Daddy's lap!

But she LOVED the swings!!!!

It was a pretty exhausting day!
After a quick stop at Grandma and Grandpa LaPray's house she took a nice long nap!!!

Community Living Magazine

Well for the past two months Ty has been working on getting a new magazine started in Idaho Falls. He and his two partners decided to create a new magazine in town that focuses on small businesses and the community in general. He spent most of last week getting the finishing touches put on the magazine, and it finally went to print the end of last week. They received the shipment of magazines on Monday and had an interview with channel 6 news later that day. They ran the story on the 10 oclock news on Monday night and the 6 oclock news Tuesday morning. If you want to see the article they put together you can see it at their website http://www.kpvi.com/. It was pretty exciting for us!

To see Community Living Magazine you can go to http://www.mycommunityliving.com/ and click on the front cover, or you can find it at several locations around town in Idaho Falls such as Great Harvest (downtown), the library, the city building, Paramount, Oakies, Inkly's, and more!

FIRST TEETH

Crystal now has TWO teeth! She got her first tooth on Febraury 12. She didn't have any swelling, fever, or redness. Ty just decided to check her mouth for a tooth and there it was! She had a bottom front tooth! On February 19 (at exactly 5 months old) her second tooth broke the surface. That tooth was a bit more rough coming in than the first one, but she still handled it well. Hopefully all her teeth come in this easily (not likely but we can still hope ... hehe).

If you look closely you can see a glimmer of her tooth. (It is the faint glimmer on the right... hehe)

Yes I know it is a strange looking picture ... hehe. But there are her two front teeth!

5 Month Pictures

She cooperated wonderfully for the pictures in the first outfit because she enjoyed all the attention she was getting. Hehe. But it didn't take long before she decided it wasn't the kind of attention she wanted!

Friends!

Crystal and Mercedes
Awwwww! Best friends... well hopefully someday!

This was taken when Crystal was just a week or two old and Mercedes was nearly 2 months old. Crystal has grown significantly since then ... she's catching up to Mercedes very quickly... hehe.
