Unlike the nice weather for Lily's soccer game that I mentioned above, Crystal's last game was VERY VERY COLD! Only 2 of the 5 fields didn't cancel their games and the other field only played for a few minutes before giving it up. Not this group. Haha. These girls played their hearts out... in the freezing air... and ground! Everytime a girl would fall we would all cringe at how cold it must be. Crystal wasn't having a hard time scoring goals though! They were still having fun. Regardless the ref finally called the game at half time... I've never heard a crowd cheer so loudly. Haha. Parents were clapping and cheering for the ref when he blew his whistle and called the game! BRRRRR!!!!

SCHOOL CARNIVAL
I took the kids to the school carnival earlier this month. They had fun dressing up and playing games. Lily had to be a 'soccer player' for the carnival because she had a game right afterwards. It was the only way she would have time for both! It worked out perfectly!

MOLLUSCUM
Well I almost just deleted these but decided it's a part of our lives so I might as well add it in. One weekend this month Jay had a bump on his leg develop what looked very frighteningly like a bullseye. I was so worried it was a tick and worse a sign of Lyme disease. He had been struggling with molluscum so we thought that's all it was. But then it looked like this! We took him in to see Ty's cousin (our doctor) the next day and they assured us it was just a very irritated molluscum. PHEW! As annoying as this molluscum has been I was very glad it wasn't something more!
CHLEO
This very large dog is very good and fitting in small corners and then avoiding eye contact, so she can pretend she isn't in the way at work. She makes me laugh!
CRYSTAL'S BIRTHDAY
Happy birthday to Crystal! She is now 11! She had a palindrome birthday this year 9/19/19! Dad was out of town and we had soccer games and practices on her actual birthday but we were sure to celebrate all weekend long. When we finally got home on her birthday, we had boxed mac n cheese (her favorite) for dinner and sang some karaoke! She got a cotton candy maker from us for her birthday! So we made some cotton candy this weekend!
For her party she went with a few friends and cousins to Flips Open Gym. I think they all had a good time and we did cake and ice cream at home!
SALT LAKE CITY
Ty came with me on Thursday the 12th to Utah with my parents and brothers for my mom's surgery. We all waited in the waiting room for 9 hours while they did a surgery to remove her cancer. I may someday write more about it. I hope that I do. But as much as I think about what I would say, the right words just haven't come yet. The important part is that it was successful and as of right now Grandma is cancer free! However it was a very long recovery, so Monday morning my brother, Tyler and I made a day trip to SLC to visit her. She was still incoherent but I'm glad we went so we could visit with my dad for a few hours. While we were gone though chaos was breaking lose at home and little Zoey ended up with blood everywhere. I can't remember the details but it involved Crystal, her hoverboard, and possibly a stroller. Haha. I was grateful Aunt Maddie was willing to watch the kids so I could go visit my parents though.
