Ty's Birthday

Ty's birthday was last week. The day before his birthday my parents who were kind enough to drive me to Provo from Idaho Falls that weekend, took us to lunch at Red Lobster. It was SUPER nice of them to take us to such a nice place even if it was his birthday (lets just say my dad may have owed me one anyway ... lol)! We had a great time visiting with my parents before they had to leave for Idaho Falls again.

Then on Tuesday, his birthday, for lunch we had WONDERFUL Red Lobster leftovers, but for dinner, he forwarded calls to his phone for a quick dinner at his favorite fast food place (the Taco Time on University Pkwy and yes it does matter which Taco Time... the other one has NO cherry coke! The nerve of them!). Then we went back with him to work and had cake and HOMEMADE ice cream. It was just a little celebration but we had fun and I hope he enjoyed it.

He sadly had no presents to open because he wanted a Rip Stick and found one on super super sale just before his birthday. My parents got him a helmet to go with it (he probably needs it ... lol). Ty's parents bought him his present when he was in IF for President's Day Weekend... he got running shoes ... now his dad is never going to give up trying to get him to run a marathon with him ... lol. I was going to get him something from the girls but on his birthday he used his gift card and MY gift card to barnes&noble to buy a book that by the way isn't really helping him because I think he gave up what he was trying to do. So I decided it was his present from the girls too... lol.

K so I'm not that great at decorating cakes ... lol ... its supposed to be two different sized layers but the top layer wasn't quite small enough to be able to tell.

Ty blowing out his candles!

Crystal helping him!
