Most of the pictures from this week are completely random. We went to Leo's Place with my sister in law and her girls. The kids loved playing together! I decided a few days later to head over to the library for storytime. I wanted to try to get a bit of a routine going again. The girls were surprised to see their cousin was there as well! How nice is it that I can just run into my sister in law at the library by chance? I'm seriously loving being back home! I was also able to get my living room unpacked this week and my kitchen and bathroom CLEANED! It didn't last very long but the five minutes was nice. Haha.
Jay has an unusual fascination with mops and brooms. It will entertain him for hours (and frustrate him on occasion as well). I hope he has this enthusiasm for cleaning when he's older!
"Mom, take a picture of this! Me and Jay sitting here like this!" She loves her brother and she loves getting her picture taken. Haha!
Lily burned her finger on the stove (while doing something I had just told her not to do). The blister didn't show up until the next day. She also never complained about it hurting (thank goodness). Even when I watched her hand touch the stove, and I ran it under cold water, she kept telling me it didn't hurt and that it was fine. I had decided that she must have let off fast enough that it hadn't actually burned her... then this showed up. We just poked a little hole in it, put a bandaid over it, and let it drain. It was gone the next day and never did bother her. I was counting my blessings because it could have been so much worse!
(And yes my next post will be largely about how our daredevil Lily has finally broken her arm... the burned finger is the perfect lead into such a story right? lol. And she was so close to making it to 4 with no broken bones! I really thought we were going to make it!)
