Sand, Sand and More Sand!

SANDY DOWNS
I took the kids to play in the sand dunes behind Sandy Downs in Idaho Falls. They were utterly and completely in heaven! I wasn't sure I was going to ever get them to leave!

Endless sea of sand!

Following footsteps.

Crystal made a 'sand angel'

Close up of the angel.

Jay loved it too!

The whole was already there. They were trying to make it deeper.

PRESCHOOL PICS

Blue Bubble Art for letter b!!!!!

All ready for our first fieldtrip next week!

There's nothing more exciting than finding a scholastic box on the front porch (well maybe finding a scholastic box on the front porch AS WELL AS the parts for the washer... yep it was a good day).

THE GARDEN
We went to Ty's parents to help harvest the rest of the garden. We came home with pumpkins, squash, potatoes, and carrots!!! The girls had fun running around the property. Crystal discovered if you yell down one end of the irrigation pipe, the person on the other end can hear it, so they played 'telephone' for a little bit. Then when it was time to put the veges in the cellar, the kids all crammed down in with Papa to check things out!

We brought Roscoe. Papa Joel thought he'd sit with him. I think he regretted it a little. Haha!

The cellar!

Playing Telephone!

Full moon. It was way bigger than it looks. The kids thought it was cool as well!

FAMILY NIGHT
We have family night once a month with the Gordon Family. For dessert my sister in law made WONDERFUL carmel apples. But when we went to cut into them, we realized the apple slicer was broken and who uses a knife anymore to cut apples? haha. My mom pulled out her watermelon cutter and - other than taking a chunk of my thumb off - worked great! Afterwards Jay taught Grandma some dance moves!

RANDOM PICTURES OF THE WEEK
Jay helped me make enchiladas for dinner one night! He LOVES aprons!

Making ranch art...

Listening to their bedtime story!

He now thinks he needs a fork for finger foods too.

Blow drying his hair

Jay picked up Daddy's lunch bag, walked to the front door, turned around, yelled 'bye bye' as he waved, and tried opening the door. Haha. It was so adorable!
