GRANDMA'S BIRTHDAY

Grandma had a birthday!!! Jay and I had a good time going to lunch with her for her birthday and then we all had dinner, cake, and ice cream with her later that evening! Crystal loves that Grandma's birthday is the same month as hers!! 

CRYSTAL'S BIRTHDAY
Crystal turned 9!!! She wanted a soccer birthday party. So naturally I transformed the backyard into a soccer field! the kids had fun playing games with the soccer ball (crab walk soccer was NOT a hit. haha). We gave her an early present so she could use them for her birthday party. We got her soccer goals! She also got a re-purposed fitbit... Ty replaced the band on my old broken one. Glad we didn't spend a lot on it because she accidentally got in the tub with it about 2 months later and though it still works, it will no longer charge rendering it useless. She's pretty devastated... there's always Christmas I guess... maybe a waterproof one this time. Haha. She also got a soccer ball and Hatchimal from Grandparents Gordon. On Sunday we had a birthday celebration with the Cook side because Aunt Brooke and Uncle Todd were in town! She got Legos from her Aunt and Uncle and a nice jacket and earrings from Grandparents Cook. Spoiled girl!!!
 I can't believe she will be in double digits next year! The time is going by far too quickly! She is such a sweet caring little girl. Love her!
