SUMMER
First thing we did after getting home from their last day of school was go get primped at the hair salon! Then we went to get flip flops and water shoes so we would be ready for all that summer fun! All our summer activities started the week before school got out (we were in school for far too long this year). Jay's tball, summer movies, and Dad's softball games were all underway! Meanwhile, at home, the house was falling apart. We were closing on our house the end of June and I was no where near ready! The living room was filled with stuff we weren't taking with us! I couldn't believe how much stuff we found that we didn't need anymore. We found a good home for most of it and took the rest to DI! I packed the kids toys thinking then I wouldn't have to waste time cleaning up after them anymore but it didn't really work... they just made their own toys out of paper from the preschool room. lol. Gotta give them credit for creativity. Haha.
