Jay was running around in the hallway while brushing his teeth before going to swim lessons. The girls were just finishing brushing theirs. We have a rule that we stay in the bathroom while brushing our teeth. The girls didn't want him to get into trouble, so they were trying to get him to come back in the bathroom. When words didn't work they tried to block his way in the hallway so he would be force back in the bathroom. So naturally he tried kicking at them. One of them grabbed his leg and he started to fall. Seem one of them already had a hold of his arm so he couldn't catch himself. He landed on the electric toothbrush with it in his mouth and it shoved a hole in the back of this mouth. I DID NOT win mother of the year this time for sure! When I saw how deep it was, I didn't really stay calm. I called Ty freaking out and Jay overheard me so he started freaking out. Ty met us at the doctor's office. They decided he was going to live thank goodness, but the hole was in a bad spot and they were worried about food getting caught in it. So off to the oral surgeon we went to get it sewn up! He was able to stitch it up by just numbing his mouth. Jay was a trooper. But he spent the next week slobbering everywhere, refusing to swallow and eat anything. He lost at least 5 lbs and would only eat a Jamba Juice mixed with ice cream. It took him a whole week to finish one Jamba. I'm glad he didn't starve to death.
