Lily had a lot of demands for her 12th birthday this year. First she wanted to pick out her decor so we went to Walmart and she chose a shark theme. The 3 pack of pink table cloths we bought were actually in about 12 pieces! There was definitely a factory defect in them. The cutter at the factory was working double time. The girls made the best of it though and got creative while taping the table cloth together. They used the rest of the scraps and braided it into Lily's hair like Rapunzel. I'm glad she had such a good attitude about it. Lily wanted Boston Creme cake and an ice cream cake. So we did chocolate and boston cream with family on Sunday and then ice cream cake with just us on her actual birthday on Tuesday. We had a lot of cake. On her birthday on Tuesday she chose to go to Fuji's for dinner!
Lily has 2 friends in the neighborhood whose birthdays are the same week as hers. This year they decided they wanted to do a combined birthday party for all three of them. They did it at her friends' house and honestly I wasn't actually invited. Haha. As a result I have no pictures of it. They dressed up in costumes and watched a movie and just had fun together. I guess they forgot to put costumes on the invite so the birthday girls were the only ones in costumes. I did get a picture of her after she got home so at least I got that!
