FLU SHOTS

The kids had their well checks and we all ended up getting flu shots! We decided we would take the extra precaution this year to make sure we don't take the flu to Grandma's house by accident. The kids were all whining about their arms being sore, so I whined with them and we decided we needed a pitty picture. Haha

WINTER

 

I don't have to watch the news anymore. I know a winter storm is coming when white lines magically appear on the road. PS. I love that the area has decided 'pre-salting' the road is worth the money! 

FUN PHONE FEATURES

I discovered overlays on my phone camera. Ty didn't know why I kept taking his picture and laughing about it. Lol. 

THE MOON

Seriously, the moon came out the other day while the sun was still up and it was HUGE. The picture doesn't do it justice... it was twice that size. Haha. Clearly I was impressed. Haha.

 

ACTIVITY DAYS

I was recently put in as an activity days leader. The girls did minute to win it games the other day. It was quite a sight!

TY AND ROSCOE

This cute dog cracks me up so much. Ty comes home from work and he begs to be held. He loves it. I have never had an animal that actually wanted to be picked up like that. Ty walks through the door, and Roscoe runs up to him and insists no one has given him any attention all day and he MUST be loved NOW! Lol. So Ty often has to carry him around for a few minutes to get him to calm down.

THANKSGIVING

The night before Thanksgiving Ty's family has Pie Night. His parents were out of town so we hosted our own pie night... We even had pizza pie for dinner beforehand. Haha. I took the pie picture before people added to it so there was even more than shown. Probably as many desserts as people!

We had Thanksgiving at my parents’ house. We cooked the turkeys at our house. We used roasters and they were both done 2 hrs before we anticipated. That has never happened in the history of turkey cooking. Lol. While Ty was carving the turkeys, the kids were asking about a turkey's anatomy, so Ty pulled the bones of the turkey out of the garbage to explain it to them. Lol. 

My parents house was such a good time. It was nice to have the whole family together again even if it was just a few hours!
