Fourth of July Week

We made the trip to Idaho Falls for the fourth of July this year. Much to Ty's dismay we started the celebration off at the Idaho Falls Parade. Ty isn't a fan of parades and thinks they are a waste of time ... lol. Crystal seemed to enjoy it quite a bit... it was a bit long to keep her attention, but the parts she actually watched she enjoyed :D. Ty took some good pictures of her, but we later found out he didn't have a card in the camera so the pictures didn't save ... i was kind of upset cuz they were really cute pictures. I got a few pictures on my mom's camera, but thought if I waited to post till I got the pictures it would never happen as usual ... hehe.

After the parade we all met at my parents house for a BBQ. Ty's parents and brother were able to come too, so it was nice to be able to visit with everyone! Later that night we went to the Chukars baseball game! It was a lot of fun and they won too which made it even better! :D After the baseball game we walked to our regular spot at the genealogy library to watch the fireworks. They were amazing as they are every year! Crystal wasn't scared at all by the loud sounds. She just sat on my lap the whole time and stared up at them mesmerized. Lily seemed to sleep through the entire thing in my belly! When I was pregnant with Crystal the loud sounds made her turn and kick, but Lily didn't seem to be phased by them at all! Its a good sign that she's a deep sleeper ... lol ... since she has to share a room with Crystal who is a VERY NOISY sleeper ... lol ...

My brother blessed his baby daughter Millie Sunday morning. It was a great experience to see my little brother bless his first child! Ty was able to get the day off so he could stay and be there too. It was good for him to be able to stay an extra day instead of coming and going so soon! Monday morning he took the shuttle back to Provo so that he could make it to work Monday afternoon. Crystal and I were able to stay till the next Sunday. I enjoy getting to spend more time with my family but I hate being away from him for so long! Especially since he had a bad reaction to antibiotics and was miserable and home alone for a whole week!

Here are some pics from the week in IF (not much cuz the card was missing for half of it and I don't have pics from my mom's camera yet)
Her friend Mercedes taught her how to use the tricycle without having to use the pedals.

Crystal and her friend Mercedes playing with the bubbles!

The wind was blowing so hard they just had to lift the wand to make bubbles!

She was covered with bubble soap by the time they were done. I didn't even have to put soap in her hair when I bathed her that night! :D

Crystal, Mercedes, and Brad playing on the swing set!

I don't know if I've mentioned this but Toy Story is Crystal's favorite movie ever! She had never seen the movie when she started noticing the characters in commercials on TV. She would stop and get all excited when the VISA commercials would come on with Woody and Buzz. While we were at her cousin's house she found his Woody toy and wouldn't put it down. We had to borrow it for a few days! :DShe carried him around everywhere!

It wasn't easy finding a way to hide it so we could leave it there when we left to come home!
The next day the bubbles didn't work as well because there wasn't any wind whatsoever! She couldn't figure out how to get it to work without the wind!

Playing in Grandpa's sandbox!

We also went camping but the few pictures I took were again taken with my mom's camera. Crystal absolutely LOVED camping! She played in the dirt the entire time we were there... she was SOOOO dirty by the time we got back!
