Random Pictures from the past 2 weeks
We had to take something to the post office the other day. That alway's means we get to see how far they've gotten on the new Provo Temple!
We hit a huge sale at Sportsman's last weekend. When we got to the front, we popped a balloon and whatever percentage was in the balloon was how much we got off our entire purchase. It was between 5% and 100%. Ty decided it was time to get me my Christmas present. We were secretly hoping for 100% off ;-). lol. But we were pretty happy with the 15% off Crystal picked out for us.
(I promptly went out target shooting and lost 2 arrows. Ty had to use a metal detector to find one of them ... lost in a nicely cut lawn. The second one is still lost in a field behind Ty's aunt's house. -sigh-)
This weekend we made quivers for our arrows. They are easier to get in and out for target practice. We were pretty proud of ourselves ;-)
The girls are loving preschool! This month we are talking about Thanksgiving and being thankful!
They even made butter!
Isn't he adorable?
Celebrating a birthday! Yay!
Everyone wanted a picture of her! :D
Yes we had cereal for dinner one night last week. It happens... lol.
These 3 are great friends! (Plus a 4th little girl hugging Ronald's head who really wanted her picture taken too. lol. She was their 'mcdonald's friend' that day).
DANCE RECITAL
The girls have been in a dance class the past two months and their last day was last week! We got them all dressed up in their tutus and tiaras, and we spent a little extra time on their hair. The girls had fun showing off their new dance moves and getting all dressed up for the occasion! (We video taped the entire thing so Daddy could watch it when he got home from work!)
See Julia there in the background? I don't know what I would do without her! She saved me that night! J pooped RIGHT BEFORE class started and she took care of it, so I wouldn't have to miss the beginning. And had she not been there J never would have let me tape the whole thing! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU JULIA!!!!
Gorgeous Girls!
Extra curly hair tonight!
TRAFALGA
We had to redeem our Seven Peaks vouchers for this next year before the 23rd, so we decided to make a trip to trafalga this weekend. The girls loved playing miniature golf and watching the 4D movies.
I swore I took more pics of Crystal but this is the only one I could find. A nice no flash black light pic. She is actually getting pretty good at hitting the ball. She had a blast
Lily had a harder time with it. lol. Most of the time she would roll or just drop the ball in with her hand. It was pretty funny and entertaining to watch!
Ty had a small handicap. lol. J was very helpful!
BYU VS ISU GAME
My awesome cousin gave us tickets to the BYU game Saturday! Ty and I have lived here for 4 years and have NEVER been to a game! When the game started it was raining, so Ty wanted to wait a bit before we went, hoping the rain would at least stop. By the second quarter it was SNOWING! We decided we'd better just go and sit thru what we could before it got any worse! lol! We bundled the kids up, put on our coats and beanies and headed to the game! It was COLD but at least it had stopped snowing/raining by the time we got there!
A group of people leaving gave us their comfy seats behind the BYU team!
Two of them didn't make it thru the third quarter. We kept asking Crystal if she was ready to go and she kept saying no even though she had NO IDEA what was going on. lol. When we'd cheer, she would look back at us like we were crazy. We left at the beginning of the 4th quarter. BYU had a pretty good lead, and the parents in this group were cold! A HUGE THANK YOU to my cousin for giving us the tickets!!! We had so much fun!
That night we warmed up with hot chocolate, pink popcorn and Monster's University!
Oh yeah and Jacob is as MOBILE as ever! He started crawling over a week ago and is getting into all sorts of mischief! When he can get a good grip on something he pulls himself to his feet already too! I don't know what to do with him! He's just trying to grow up faster than he needs to! I'm afraid he's going to be walking before we know it. LOOK OUT CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS, J IS ON THE LOOSE!
He was upset with me at this point for trying to get him to crawl, so you'll have to ignore the screams. lol.
