TWIN FALLS
We made an overnight trip to Twin Falls to visit my brother and sister in law. My parents needed to go there for work also, so we were able to meet up with them also! J had tons of fun playing with his cousin. He is a little older than J but it was perfect because when J would try to bully him or wrestle him, he'd just walk away or fight back. The girls loved playing with the cousins their age too but they were playing in another room so I didn't get any pictures of them. After dinner that evening everyone played in the hotel pool for a while! We had a blast spending time with family!
This little boy and Lily sure made Papa nervous. They wouldn't stay still or wait for an adult before going to the edge of the pool!
VALENTINE'S DAY
We bought the kids each a balloon for Valentine's Day and we also bought the girls a cute little necklace with a gem in it (J promptly pulled on Lily's and broke the chain. lol). The girls were invited to a birthday party that evening, so Ty, J, and I went out to a Venezuelan restaurant down the road. The food was so good! J LOVED the Malt Soda and would cry when Ty would pull it away to give his hand a rest from holding it for him. J enjoyed quite a bit of dinner also. When we got home, we celebrated with a heart shaped strawberry shortcake!
A LOT OF J
Grandma and Papa took the girls to IF with them for a week, so it was just J and I for a few days. As a result I ended up with quite a few candids of adorable little J!
He got a hold of my empty cup.
PEEK A BOO!
Crystal loves to play with J. J chases her around the room and wrestles with her! These are pics from before the girls left.
OREO FACE
THE MIRROR
February was a rough month for me, so I spent a lot of time being a mom from the couch. On one particular day, J got a hold of the bag with the Sunday newspaper in it. I laid on the couch and watched him as he struggled with the bag and then eventually pulled the paper apart. He was making a huge mess, but it entertained him for a good 30 minutes and better yet he didn't try to eat the paper at all! The 30 minutes of peace was totally worth the mess! lol.
Grandma and Papa with the grandkids when we went to pick up the girls!
I made these moccasins for J. The sewing isn't great but they are the ONLY shoes we can get him to leave on his feet!
