Soccer, Birthdays, Preschool, and Play!

CRYSTAL'S PEP SQUAD
It's hard getting a good picture of Crystal while she's playing soccer... the pics end up all blurry... so I took a picture of her biggest fans! Crystal is loving soccer and actually does pretty well! She even scored a goal last week!

PRESCHOOL
We had a solar system theme in preschool last week! It was a BLAST! One of my favorite themes we've done yet! The kids also love writing on the marker board so every once in a while we think of some way to effectively use it!! Haha! This week we started a Fire Safety Theme. We played a tag-type game with a foam flame where we practiced Stop! Drop! And Roll! The kids thought it was the best game ever and didn't want to stop! Tomorrow we have a field trip to the fire station!!!

LIBRARY
Once a month after story time at the library they have a craft planned for the children. Last week they made masks! These two wore their masks all day!

MOVIE NIGHT
We watched The Good Dinosaur as a family last week. It was a cute movie and the kids loved it!

JAY
Isn't he adorable in his 'new to him' suit? Some friends gave us a bag of clothes (hand me downs are my favorite!) and this suit was in it! Wow! Where did my baby go???? PS. Love his new 'cheese' face? Lol.

TY'S BIRTHDAY
Ty was spoiled this year for his birthday! He had 2 cakes because we celebrated the day before with his family, and I couldn't just go without celebrating on his actual birthday... that would be wrong! lol. I usually get him an ice cream cake as part of his birthday present because it's his favorite anyway, so I made a tres leches cake for the day before and bought an ice cream cake for his actual birthday. He also got to blow out candles twice... or I guess the kids got to blow out candles twice. Haha. I got Ty a tool chest for his birthday and Lily wanted to buy him a gun... so naturally I let her ... pick out a nerf gun for him. lol. My parents got him a nice suit and his parents got him a shot gun!!! Holy Moly! This year alone should be enough for the next 10 years at least!

PLAYDOUGH
This makes no sense but I got more of the house clean in just a few hours than I get done in a normal week. All because the kids were busy playing with playdough! That's right playdough! It makes a huge mess in and of itself, but the entire time they had it out there was little to no fighting, and I didn't have a toddler at my feet begging for attention!!! This might need to become a weekly occurrence!

LIBRARY STORY TIME AGAIN
This week at the library it just happened to be Dr. Seuss's birthday, so they had a special craft and snack after story time! They also had a selfie station set up in the children's section! We had to go to an earlier story time than usual, and 2 daycares showed up, so it was PACKED in there. The next storytime they split into 2 rooms so it wouldn't happen again! Haha. It was good though because one of Lily's friends from church was with one of the daycares so they were able to sit next to each other!

DENTIST
Mom and Dad had dentist appointments, so after story time we made a trip to the dentist where Daddy was just finishing up. He was going to take the kids to McDonald's, but they decided the dentist was more fun! They played in the waiting room the entire time I was there! Haha.

DR. SEUSS DINNER
Before dinner I read Green Eggs and Ham to the kids, and we had green eggs and ham and pancakes for dinner!! YUM! PS. Yes Lily has a fat lip. She fell while running up the stairs. Youchy!
