SWIMMING LESSONS
Before I get to the reunion, we started swimming lessons this week! We took a break from swim team to have some good old fashioned swim lessons so Jay could participate as well. They all did really well. Crystal is working on side breathing. Lily is learning to swim in water over her head. Jay is working on floating and putting is face under the water. After swim everyday we stuck around the park for free kids lunches from the school district. The kids loved it! Sometimes we'd even stay and play in the splash pad! One day we went to Orange leaf and used our free cup coupons from the library. The kids LOVED that!
FRIENDS AND FAMILY
My nephews were staying with my parents so we had FHE with my family this week. Lying on the floor with that many kids around is just asking for trouble! lol. Our kids and neighbor kids across the street were all out on their scooters one night, so they came over to play for a few minutes (yes jay is in underwear. Oy). They came over later in the week to play in the pool too but I didn't take any pictures!
My Grandpa turned 90 this month so we celebrated his birthday at the reunion this year! I love getting together with my extended family every year in Joe's Valley! It's always such a good time!
Life is always interesting when these two are together...
My cousin was a torch bearer at the 2002 Olympics! She lit it on opening night for everyone to see!
