For $2 Tuesday at Thanksgiving Point this week we decided to try out Farm Country. We didn't realize till we got there that it only costs $3.50 to get in on a normal day, so we really didn't need to fight the crowd for just a few dollars less. But since we were already there, there was no turning back! Crystal absolutely LOVED all the animals. We didn't bother standing in line for the pony ride because it was way too long and from what we heard from other parents (parents trying to explain to their crying children why they couldn't ride the pony) the line didn't move very fast. Instead we took a wagon ride around the block. Crystal didn't know she could have had a pony ride anyway, so it made no difference to her! We will have to go back another day (NOT on Tuesday...lol) so she can ride the pony!
Sitting on a cow in the souvenir shop!
She loved the baby goats!
Petting an animal in the camel family with a strange name ...lol
This long haired goat acted more like a dog!
It wanted Ty to stay and scratch it all day!
This goat had VERY big horns!
We had to sit here for a while before
she'd let us move on to the next animals!
Ty and Crystal (the horse moved out of the camera)
Ty was worried the horse might bite so every
time she'd pet it he'd pull her away so i couldn't get a good picture.
Playing in the Dance Hall!
In the jail house.
I'm not really sure what this is... but she liked it! :D
Petting the donkey!
The cow looks pretty happy!
Pretending to feed the "BITING" donkey. It had a sign that said "I bite" but it was very friendly with Crystal. Even when she tried feeding it wood chips from the ground. He just put his mouth in her hand and knocked the wood chips out. She thought he was eating them, so she was happy! :D
