Seven Peaks? How about The Kiddie Pool instead?

One day toward the end of the summer Crystal wanted to go to "the pool." Seven Peaks was going to close in a few weeks so we decided it was a good idea to go while we still could. So we got in our swim suits, packed up the car, and headed to the pool. As we came into view of the slides, I thought things looked awfully quiet and sure enough as we got closer, we noticed there were no people at the pool. It wasn't until then that I remembered that the last 2 weeks of the season Seven Peaks didn't open till 4 during the week! Oops! We told Crystal the pool was closed and she cried. It was very sad. So when we got home, Ty filled up Crystal's kiddie pool from last year (we hadn't used it all summer) and the girls both had a blast playing in the freezing cold kiddie pool.

Lily 'warmed' up to the pool pretty fast considering how cold it was!

 Crystal eventually joined her.

Lily sat right down in it, but Crystal stood in it for a LONG time before she even attempted to sit in it.

Daddy stayed close by just in case Lily tried to swim underwater! She's a dare devil which tends to get her in trouble a lot!

Once Crystal finally sat down she really got into it and started splashing around. Daddy got pretty wet!

 Just chillin in the pool.

Daddy showed Crystal how to use the flower watering can.

Lily being brave again. Standing in the slippery pool.

 Look Mom! One hand!

Lily liked to stick her hand under the pouring water.

Both of them trying not to get water splashed in their faces

I don't think I mentioned this but it wasn't exactly the warmest weather outside that day. It was overcast and breezy. I wouldn't really call it cold, but it wasn't really warm enough to be sitting in 40 degree water. lol. But the girls were having so much fun, we couldn't convince them to get out. It wasn't till the wind picked up and the lightening came rolling in that Crystal decided it would be okay to go inside (the wind blew the trees hard enough that it scared her. lol).
