We spent Easter in Idaho Falls with Grandparents this year! Friday night we always decorate boiled eggs for the Easter bunny to hide. While we waited for eggs to boil, we put together an Easter House that Grandma Gordon bought for the girls to put together! Daddy helped put it together and decorate with the frosting and the girls put the candy on! Who am I kidding? They ate most of the candy before it even made it onto the house! While they LOVED building the house, the only reason there's candy on the roof is because it was gumballs, and I told them they were marbles so they wouldn't try eating them! lol! And when we finished, they both went after the leftover frosting! They spent the next 2 days making a huge mess in my mom's kitchen trying to eat the whole thing!
It took a lot of concentration to get the roof just right!
The Easter Bunny came Saturday morning! The girls had to not only find their eggs, but the bunny hid their baskets this year too! It just warmed them up for the rest of the day's activities! Around noon we headed over to Grandma and Grandpa Cook's house where they had their first Easter Egg Hunt! Their cousin Elliana joined them, and they all had a great time looking for eggs! Then it was on to Grandma and Grandpa Gordon's house for another Easter egg hunt! Since 3 (now 4 counting JT) of us have birthday's in March, my parents took the entire family to Texas Roadhouse for dinner! It was a long fun filled day!
Grandma and Grandpa Gordon had an Adult Egg Hunt also!
