Trip to Orangeville

One night this week I went to check on the girls who were in bed, and I couldn't find Lily anywhere.  I noticed the closet door was completely closed which is strange. The closet is never closed. Sure enough when I opened it, Lily's leg fell out. lol. We often find her sleeping in strange places, but this was a new one.

I went with my mom to visit my grandpa in Orangeville, UT for a few days this week. The first morning there, I walked into the room I had slept in and saw this lying on the floor near the bed. MY FLIP CAM LIVES! We lost this almost 2 years ago. We had come to the conclusion that Lily/Crystal (we can't remember which child it was who was going through the 'throw everything in the garbage' stage at the time) had thrown it in the garbage, and it had gone to the dump... lost forever. I am SO EXCITED that I found it. It has Lily's first crawls and first steps on it! I thought those videos were gone forever.

Chilling on Grandpa's porch as the girls play in the mud behind the tree. (This little boy's smile melts my heart.)

Lily put Great Grandpa in charge of babysitting her baby doll. lol.

My kids with Grandma, Great Grandpa, and don't forget Daisy the dog! (Lily was petrified of the dog at first, but by the time we left the dog was petrified of her. lol. Ok maybe not petrified... Daisy was a little tired of being chased and smothered by Lily, though she handled it VERY well. I hope when we are in a situation where we can have a dog that we will be able to find one as good with kids as Daisy is.)

Snuggling up for a movie before bed.

We had a great time at Great Grandpa's house. But after two days of my three monsters, I'm sure Great Grandpa was glad for a little peace and quite after we left.

One last note. This little boy turned 5 months on Friday! WHY DO THEY GROW SO FAST?!?!?!? I haven't weighed him yet. I've been meaning to do it all weekend but the girls broke my scale which makes it a little more difficult. lol. He is sitting up on his own and loving his oatmeal. He loves playing in his johnny jumper and on his jungle play mat. During tummy time (which he still hates so it doesn't happen as often as it should), he has gotten pretty close to rolling, but I don't see it happening any time soon. lol. The horrible week of swollen gums and a miserable baby ended up producing nothing just as I worried would happen. His teeth finally decided to give up and wait for another day, so at least he isn't hurting anymore. He smiles at everyone who looks at him and is such a happy baby!
