Mommy-Daughter Date and oh so much more!

Before I get started here are some random pictures of the kids.
J has been getting better at holding his head up on his belly, but he still doesn't roll over. lol. He's sitting up really well though!

My three babies... and a baby doll.

The girls like J's toys as much as he does!

Love this boy! Even when he wakes up in the middle of the night and thinks its time to play!

The flash was a little bright for them... it was 3AM

MOMMY DAUGHTER DATE
Crystal and I had a little day date on Thursday! We set out to Trafalga in Lehi only to find it closed because apparently they have new winter hours and don't open until 3. I thought maybe the one in Orem would have different hours since it was closer to college students, but it was closed also. We had spent nearly an hour in the car, and Crystal was beginning to question how much fun this Mommy-Daughter date was going to be. Lol. Anyway we ended up at Miracle Bowl, and Crystal had a blast! Even her baby doll got to bowl a few times! PS. She won … and I swear I didn't let her! Lol!

SALSA
Friday we canned salsa! It makes a huge mess but its so worth it! I also canned peaches earlier in the week!
Crystal helping wash tomatoes.

J watched us do all the hard work from his swing!

The fruits of our labor!

THE MESS
That night our friends came over and we had tons of fun playing cards! Unfortunately the kids had tons of fun getting into the closet in the toy room. The toy room is for toys, but the closet is full of storage. Namely preschool storage. When we went in there they had emptied the entire closet. The room was full of a layer of toys, a layer of blankets, another layer of toys and another layer of blankets. And here comes the best part. On top of all of it was where they dumped the sensory bin filler... cotton balls, beans, rice, and bird seed … it was EVERYWHERE! As soon as we finished cleaning it up, I was kicking myself for not getting a picture of what we had walked into. Since Ty refused to dump it all back on the floor, I had to settle for pics of what ended up in the garbage and how nice and clean the toy room was afterwards. (Super sorry to the upstairs neighbors for vacuuming at 11:30 at night).

HOGLE ZOO
Saturday we met my whole family at Hogle Zoo. We had a blast! We also enjoyed the hotel pool and a short trip to Temple Square! Loved spending time with them! It wasn't long enough!

The white thing in the water in the back is the polar bear.

Yep... That's a polar bear. She sure put on a show for us!

She scared Lily half to death right here. Lily wouldn't get back up on the windowsill.

Jacob eying the empty cotton candy cup...

Its a little closer now...

He got it! He was pretty happy with an empty, sticky cup.

Lily wanted to ride the giraffe.

Crystal found a Zebra.

Uncle Tyler (he's on the ant eater. lol. apparently no one wanted to sit on an ant eater) and cousin Millie

Yes this is real. He didn't move the entire time we were watching him. We only knew it was real because his eye would move occasionally

Tired girl, but loving the giraffes!

The tiger is leaning up against the building clear in the back...

Long day!

Long day for Jacob too!

TEMPLE SQUARE
