The Aftermath

First of all, I need to send a HUGE THANK YOU to Ty's grandparents for letting us invade their space while we wait for the flood mess to get cleaned up. They have been SO wonderful! Ty called them Sunday afternoon and asked if we could stay a few days (which has turned in to 2 weeks). They welcomed us as they always do. They were actually leaving for a trip to St. George and will be gone until Tuesday, but I'm so grateful for their trust in us to stay in their home even when they aren't here.

Its been a pretty stressful week. But through it all, we've had wonderful neighbors and friends helping us with watching the kids, moving our stuff and making sure we have had a place to eat/stay. 

OUR APARTMENT THE NEXT DAY

 Monday we decided to de-stress at the pool before going to the apartment. (Yes, Lily is still sporting her 'camera pose.' lol. I love it! It has Crystal getting more creative with her poses too!)

This is how J likes the pool. Only his slobber getting him wet!!! lol! 

(We actually went to the pool again Friday, and I made him get in with me this time. He had a BLAST! First time in his 5 months of life that he has ENJOYED the pool! YAY!)

We ate out A LOT this week. We are staying in Spanish Fork, so driving home for lunch when we have been at the apartment every day this week wasn't really an option.

For some reason I didn't take a picture of the pod which has our furniture and the furniture of apt. #2 in it. We also had to put quite a few items under the car ports of apts 1-3... we hope no one steals them...

THURSDAY MOVIE NIGHT

WE popped popcorn and watched a movie before bed Thursday night. It was nice to sit and relax with the girls for a while after such a stressful week!

The girls told me there were mean monsters down here and we needed to kill them! I told them I didn't think killing them was the answer, so I told them to catch them and I'd have a talk with the monsters. They came back and said they had the monsters tied up in the hallway. So I went over and told the monsters that we should play nice and be kind to each other, etc... Then the monsters and the girls became friends. (Don't you see them sitting in between the girls?)
