Bridal Veil Falls

Most of the week was pretty normal. We are getting into a nice preschool routine, and though I enjoy all the summer fun we always have, I'm loving the structure of routine. Every day we talk about the letter, number, shape, and color of the week. On Tuesdays we have co-op preschool with the neighbors. The girls are really loving it! Wednesdays are preschool time at the library! I think Crystal's favorite part is that they have a little kid sized door for the kids to get into the story time room. On Thursdays I do preschool with just the girls where we do letter, number, and shape/color activities. Mondays and Fridays are reserved for family activities.

I walked in after her nap and she had pulled all of the clean mismatched socks out of the basket and put them on. lol.

Jacob's foot got caught in one of his toys. He had to have kicked it in just the right spot to get it there! lol. He wasn't happy that I wanted a picture before I would help him get it out.

Jacob is sitting like a champ!!! Now if only he'd learn to roll over .... since that's the stage he's SUPPOSED to be in right now. lol.

Friday a friend of ours invited us to go to Bridal Veil Falls. There were 4 families from the apartment complex that went (well Ty was the only dad there … it happens a lot since his schedule is backwards from the rest of the world). We fed the fish in a little pond next to the falls (one little girl fell in while throwing the fish food. The poor girl was wet from head to toe, and it was still pretty chilly since the sun hadn't come over the ridge yet). They all had fun getting their feet wet at the bottom of the falls even though the water was COLD and it wasn't super warm outside yet. As we were leaving, the sun came over the ridge and the air was suddenly 10 degrees warmer! The girls, wet from the falls, decided to climb a hill and slide down in the dirt. Their pants were SO dirty when we got back to the car that I actually changed Lily before I'd let her get in!
