Pirate Birthday Party

Crystal had a Pirate Party for her 5th birthday this year!  This is the first year we've done an actual kids party for her.  We started off the party by each child getting a pirate hat and eye patch! Can't have a pirate party without pirates! We played a game called Pin the Flag on the Map. They had to Pin the Flag on the X on the map. After that the kids each got a compass or map or sword, so we could get ready for a treasure hunt. We got in our ship and followed the clues! When we found the treasure, we realized we didn't have a key for the treasure chest, so we hung it up and banged on it until the treasure came flying out! After that we sang to Crystal, had cake and ice cream, and she opened her presents! She had SO much fun, and I think the other kids did too!
