Christmas Vacation!

PICTURES OF THE WEEK
In my last post I said I didn't get a pic of J kissing his cousin. Ty's Aunt sent me this the next day! Aren't they adorable! :D

J loves his sister! (love the upside down binky)

I walked into the living room and found the girls cuddled up watching TV. They love each other so much! I hope it continues as they get older!

Crystal has been doing some 'Christmas decorating' of her own. lol. Including the doorknobs.

Family Picture with Santa!

CHRISTMAS VACATION
Jingle is ready for our trip to Idaho

Look what the girls found when we got to Grandma and Grandpa Gordon's house! They had made a CASTLE ROOM for the grandkids. The girls and their 2 cousins who were also staying at Grandma's for Christmas fit up there comfortably.

Couch folds out to a bed for more space. I'm looking forward to future visits to see exactly how many grandkids we can fit in this room. haha.

This is what Grandma's tree looked like when we got there (only a quarter of the presents are what we brought. lol.) Grandma and Grandpa love spoiling the kids and grandkids at Christmastime! Not sure where my brother and sister-in-law will put their presents when they get here! Haha!

Papa is teaching him young. lol.

No one is allowed past the train tracks to Grandma's village. All the grandkids know this rule and we rarely have a problem with it. But this year Jacob didn't get it and kept terrorizing the village anyway...

Jacob being a little too friendly with his cousin McKensie

J found the outlet to the central vacuum. He found it rather fascinating.

Playing on the arcade game while waiting for a table at Red Robin to celebrate my sister in law's birthday!

CHRISTMAS AT THE ZOO
We went to the Zoo with Grandma and Grandpa Cook. We were hoping to see Santa, but we missed him by about 10 minutes. Bad timing I know, but we had fun looking at the animals anyway. They are so much more active when we go off season than they are in the summer! J loved the monkeys and one in particular was very friendly back. He sat at the window and posed for us.

 CHRISTMAS EVE
We had an awesome Christmas Eve party with the Gordon side of the family this year. My mom scheduled the church so we would have plenty of room (mostly so the kids would have plenty of room)! My mom went overboard as usual! She had a "Santa Bag" for everyone filled with neat stocking stuffers. We played a mean game of dodgeball and my team lost every time, but in our defense Ty was cheating by holding Jacob so no one wanted to hit him. My little brother tried once and actually nailed J in the head with the ball. No worries he was okay, but Ty's team won.
Then we had a wonderful Christmas dinner together! We had the kids act out the nativity story, but we all forgot their clothes so its hard to tell who is who in the pictures. J was baby Jesus, Crystal was Mary and I think Lily was supposed to be a shepherd. They had fun sitting around the baby while Papa read the story. After our story we watched Polar Express on the 'big screen' while eating A LOT of desserts and snacks and drinking hot chocolate! All in all we had a wonderful evening!

 MOVIE TIME

When we got back to Grandma's house after the movie, we found that the elves had left the kids pajamas on their beds!

CHRISTMAS DAY
Santa found us at Grandma's house! The kids were SO spoiled this year! I loved having my brother and his family there also. It was so much fun! Especially for the kids! After opening presents, we ate a big breakfast and Grandma and Papa Gordon took us ALL to see the movie Frozen. My girls have been obsessed with it ever since.

Waiting to see of Santa came!

Coming down the stairs

 Checking out what Santa brought

The opening begins!

It only took J a minute to figure out how to unwrap!

Yep. My little brother still wears footie pajamas. lol.

Spoiled rotten!

J loved to chase my nephew. It was fun watching them play together.

My nephew was faster than him so eventually he would get so far ahead that he would end up chasing J around the luv sac instead. lol.

Both of them getting into trouble. lol.

NATIVITY DISPLAY AT THE MUSEUM OF IDAHO
We went with Grandma and Papa Cook and Uncle Ryan to the Museum of Idaho to look at their nativity collection. The collection was amazing but I apparently didn't take any pictures of them! The museum has a Discovery Center for the kids. It is filled with things for them to play with from Idaho's history and the kids love it!

We had a wonderful Christmas vacation with family this year!
