Family's 10 Most Memorable Moments of 2013
(In
no particular order of greatness)
1: Grandma
and Papa Gordon took us to Disneyland in January! I was 28 weeks
pregnant and tired, but we had a blast! The girls were in heaven
and had so much fun!
2: On
March 23rd, we became a family of 5 when Jacob Ty Cook was
born. He is now 9 months old,
crawling, and pulling himself to a stand. He puts up with a lot
from his sisters!
3: We
lost Lily in the park this summer. Scariest moment in my life!
4: In
August we spent a wonderful week in Bear Lake with Grandma and
Grandpa Cook. The girls spent most of the week in a swimsuit either
at the pool or the beach!
5: The
girls and I are a part of a co-op preschool this year. It's been a
lot of fun!
6: Crystal
has learned to read about 50 sight words. We have also been working
on blending and handwriting. Lily is working on alphabet
sounds and counting.
7: Crystal
turned 5 and loves playing outside with her friends – even when its
freezing! She loves making new friends and can't wait to go to
Kindergarten next year!
8: Lily
turned 3, but if you ask her she'll tell you she's 5 (or sometimes
4). She's a 'big girl' now and thinks she can do EVERYTHING by
herself.
9: Our
apartment flooded in September when 50 years worth of accumulated
rain decided to unleash itself on Provo. We were out of a home for
nearly 2 weeks and were so thankful for Ty's grandparents who let
us stay with them!
10: Ty
and I will celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary 2 days
before Christmas!
