THANKSGIVING
We went to my brother's house in Twin Falls for Thanksgiving this year. He was on-call for work so they couldn't leave town. We took Thanksgiving to them instead! I didn't get any pictures of dinner. Oops.
Ladies after dinner craft time!
The guys said they were going shooting, but I found all 4 of them asleep. My dad and brothers in the family room sleeping, and Ty sleeping in our room with Jay. Lol. (They did go shooting eventually before the night was out.)

The kids gaining up on Grandpa!
Grandpa warning them to stop!
Pillow fight!
Grandpa wins!
All three of the kids were overdue for a doctor's appointment. The move kind of threw things off and I hadn't called our old doctor to set up appointments. Our animals were overdue for their appointments as well, so one night Ty said, "I'll call the vet if you call the doctor." And so it finally happened. Lol.
Crystal only needed her flu shot and a well check. Our doctor in Provo only administered the shots so we never had the option for anything else. But here the state apparently pays for the nose mist stuff so Crystal got off easy! No shots for her! The doctor said she looks like she's healthy and doing great. She's 47% weight and 66% height. I think she was 43 pounds and 47 inches tall.
Lily only needed her flu mist also ... or so we thought. The nurse decided she needed her Kindergarten shots. I told her she wasn't going to Kindergarten for 2 years, but she said they like to get them done earlier with all the stuff going around lately. I agreed with her so I broke the news to Lily that she was getting 2 shots. She handled it well when I told her no more till she turns 11. She seemed to be okay with that! Lol. Lily is doing well also. She was 45% weight and 66% height. She was 38 pounds and I can't remember what her height was exactly. . . I'll have to measure her myself I guess. Lol.
Jay got the worst of it. He had to get 3 shots but at least he's done now until Kindergarten shots come due! Doctor says he's right on track! He was 55% weight and 42% height. Totally opposite from the girls! lol! He's our little tank! 25 pounds and I once again forgot the height. I'm gonna have to pull the measuring tape out...
Even I had to get a shot. Apparently the flu mists are only for kids. lol. I had to get a real shot. BOO!
Because everyone was so brave for the doctor and nurses, we went to McDonald's for lunch. And to top it off, I got them each their own happy meal! That almost never happens! Even Jay got one! And I couldn't believe it but he ate the whole thing!
This was the first time I've had to take the kids to the doctor by myself since Crystal was 2 months old. I was pretty nervous. I hate holding my babies down while the nurse gives them shots. I cried when Crystal got her 2 month shots which is why I've made Ty go with me since then! lol! But his work schedule doesn't make that easy anymore, so I decided I could do it alone. And I survived! Yay!
Lily insisted she couldn't walk the rest of the day and my arm hurt a ton so I believed her! Poor thing. I hate shot day!
I took a ton of pics of all the fun we were having but my phone didn't save any of them. We helped Turkey Tom find all his Thankful Feathers. Then we made Thankful turkeys and indian hats (I was the only pilgrim at this party). We then sat in a circle and shook and rolled our jar of cream to make butter! Once the butter was finished we were ready for our Thanksgiving feast! We had cornbread and butter, turkey (hot dogs made to look like a turkey), and pumpkin bars!
Thankful Turkey Tom and all his Thankful Feathers
We made butter ... this is what was left when we were done. haha.
RANDOM PICTURES OF THE WEEK
Jay's form of a temper tantrum. This boy has more drama in him than my girls ever did! lol.
Caught with someone else's Icee!
I'm making this for the girls' room!
It came with the Olaf as well!
I love finding 'presents' on my pillow when I get into bed at night. Makes me smile :)
Jay his helping with the Christmas decorations... or more like not helping at all... lol.
My kitty still loves me even though I brought 3 kids and a dog into the family just to make her miserable. So sweet of her to forgive me... occasionally... when it suits her needs. lol.
