4TH OF JULY WEEKEND
We made it home from Priest Lake on Friday night and Saturday morning we began our holiday weekend festivities with a birthday party for my nephew! His birthday is on the 4th, and we partied at the splash pad with family to celebrate! I didn't take any pictures of the kids playing in the water... or my kids at all for that matter. lol. I was busy holding a baby. ;-)
We spent all weekend with my family. My brother and his family were in town, and I wanted the kids to get as much cousin time as possible before they left! We had a good time visiting, barbecuing, roasting hot dogs, and watching fireworks in the backyard! The kids had a blast playing with cousins in the pool/hot tub and the new playhouse Grandpa built (or had his guys build... same thing though right? haha).
On Monday we started the day at the parade! Ty absolutely HATES the parade. I told him he could stay home and weed the garden, but I think he didn't believe that he wouldn't be in trouble for not going so he came anyway. Haha. We had some friends let us squish in with them so we could have good curbside seating! I thought it was a good time, and the kids had fun! Next year I'm leaving Ty at home and taking Gigi! After a barbecue at my parents house we went to get spots for the fireworks and then headed to the baseball game!!! It was the most exciting game I think I've ever been to! Bottom of the 10th inning, bases loaded, 2 outs, full count, and he hit a homerun!!!!!! Wahoo! The Chukars won!!!! And with 10 minutes to spare! We had just enough time to head back to our spot before the fireworks started! My phone was dead so I didn't get any pictures during the fireworks, but they didn't disappoint!!!!
