HALLOWEEN PARADE
TRICK OR TREATING
We started our evening trick or treating at Grandma and Papa Cook's house! Then we came home for a quick picture with their pumpkins before going to the trunk or treat! We left the trunk or treat a little early and walked around the block to do some old fashioned trick or treating for a few minutes! After trick or treating we went to dinner with Grandma and Grandpa Gordon at Pizza Hut! It was a fun night and we now have enough candy to last till Easter. Maybe Santa will just bring oranges this year?
DENTIST
This was Jay's first time getting full work done on a tooth. Last month he had a small cavity filled that didn't require any numbing or anything. He handled it so well! He did great for the dentist and just let him work on his mouth without comment. He of course didn't love being numb, but he did a lot better than I expected! And the numbness seemed to wear off faster than his sisters which was a huge plus!
WORLD SERIES GAME 7
First of all this was one of the most intense baseball games I've watched in a long time! We were rooting for the Cubs and after the 8th inning I was questioning my decision. Haha. But it was too late. I really wanted them to win!!! I may or may not have hollered when they got the last out even though the kids were all asleep. Lol.
Anyway, Crystal watched the game for hours. She loved it! We made her go to bed after 10 when they delayed the game. She was so sad. I was tempted to go get her when they started it again, but she had school and it was already way past bedtime. But she was so excited in the morinng to hear the Cubs won!
PRESCHOOL
Making Apple Tear Art!!! The kids loved it!
BAPTISM
My nephew was baptized in Twin Falls this weekend. We rode with Grandma and Papa (Crystal rode with Aunt and Uncle) so we could get there early enough to play in the hotel pool! Daddy joined us when he got off work later! After the baptism we went to the shop in Twin to change before lunch, and the kids played around with Papa for a little bit! Then we had a fun lunch with the family at Golden Corral! We decided to do a little sightseeing while we were there and went to Shoshone Falls and a nearby park where the kids could play for a while before we headed home!
We had such a good time with family and are so proud of my nephew's decision to get baptized and confirmed this weekend!
