Pre-Halloween Shenanigans

TRICK OR TREAT STREET
Even though it was pouring rain when we left, I decided to tough it out and go to trick or treat street. The rain actually didn't slow many people down. There had to have still been a thousand people in line when we left an hour after it began. We got in line 20 minutes early. Probably had 50 ish people in front of us and 500 behind us by the time it started. It was crazy! Thankfully it was a nice 50 degrees and just sprinkled a little! The kids got a ton of candy, colored a halloween picture, and got to stand next to a HUGE HUGE snake!!! Lily says, "Mom I want a picture with it by myself." Haha. They all thought it was pretty cool!

PUMPKIN PAINTING
We painted pumpkins for FHE this week. We were going to carve them but the kids wanted to paint them. It sounded easier so we let them. Haha. They had a ton of fun. Jay's arms were blue passed his elbows and had to have a bath and Lily got some on her new pants, but despite the mess it was a good night (there's still blue paint on my blinds and microwave... don't even want to know how that happened. lol).

U PICK RED BARN FIELD TRIP
We went to U Pick Red Barn for a field trip this week. Jay and Lily had a ton of fun and got to pick out ANOTHER pumpkin. Jay loved the train of course. But they all especially loved the kittens. Jay was finally scratched by one of them and he still wanted to take one home. Haha.
