CRYSTAL'S BAPTISM
The night before her baptism, Grandma and Papa came over with G. Grandma and G Grandpa Cook to give Crystal a gift. Grandma and Papa got her pearl earrings, a bracelet, and necklace. She wore the bracelet and pearl earrings (first time switching out her earrings) at her baptism. They also got her a book called The Sacrament. She read it all by herself that night. She loves it! G. Grandma and G. Grandpa Cook gave her a lighthouse necklace reminding her to stand up for what's right even when it's hard. Crystal was baptized on October 8th, 2016. She thinks it's so cool that she was baptized at age 8 on October 8th. Haha. She had a pretty wonderful day and I'm so proud of the sweet, kind, loving girl she's becoming and for her decision to get baptized and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Crystal was so good to make sure she personally said hello to everyone who came to her baptism. I was so proud of her for thinking of others on this special day! We celebrated at Chuck-A-Rama with all our family and friends afterwards.
PS. The sun really did a number on the pictures we took afterwards. Oy.
The afternoon after Crystal's baptism, we had family pictures. Everyone was in town so we got them done while we had them all! After pictures Ty and I took the kids on a little hike to the river... in their dress clothes. haha. I thought it was kinda funny... and totally adorable!

I made the girls fleece Frozen cloaks to go with their Halloween costumes. I think they turned out pretty good!
