SPRING?
Well despite the fact that it did snow over an inch this week, we are starting to see the first signs of spring! The chickens even wandered out of their run and to the back door for the first time since the snow and cold hit us! Today I could see grass in the front yard and we have dry pavement! It was sunny and warm! And did I mention DRY pavement? Yay! I hope it continues!!!
SOCCER, DANCE, AND A SWIM MEET
Sometimes the universe aligns in such a way that all our activities converge on themselves. lol. It felt that way this weekend (I'm certain the crazy full moon had something to do with it. lol). Lily had a soccer game (Friday night thank goodness), the girls both had a dance performance, and Lily had her Winter swim meet! To make things a little more interesting, they didn't dance until 4:50 in Shelley and her swim meet was at 6 in Idaho Falls (30 min away) Saturday. Everything worked out perfectly though. The dance schedule was right on time, and we had plenty of time to change, get makeup off as best we could, and get ready to swim!
I didn't take any pictures of soccer this week, but Lily had a pretty exciting game Friday night! It was kind of funny because Lily was goalie at one point and Crystal was standing 2 feet behind her trying to help her but really just distracting her. Lol. She'd look up in the stand and the ball would go right passed her into the goal.
The girls did awesome during their dance performance tonight! I was one proud Momma that's for sure! They've worked really hard to remember the whole dance, and all that hard work paid off! I have a video of it below.
Lily's swim and soccer overlapped by a few weeks (they usually only play one other sport/activity besides dance). Tonight was her final swim meet until Spring when her soccer session is over. She did fantastic! I couldn't have been more proud of her!
