SWIM TEAM
Lily had her swim awards party this week. She got first in 3 events and second in 1. It has been a year since her first Swim meet and she has come leaps and bounds since then! I don't have to worry about her at all when we go swimming now. She can go down the big slides at the deep end and swim to the edge herself with no problems! Such a relief!!!!
LAST DAY OF PRESCHOOL
Jay and I had our last day of preschool last week! We had a wonderful year and Jay is doing fantastic! I have to admit. I'm glad I get to have him in my class again next year! We are both excited to have the summer off though! We have plans for great fun this summer!
DANCE RECITAL
The girls had their final dance recital last week as well! We couldn't find their foot mittens anywhere (poor Dad spent an hour looking for them to no avail), but the show must go on! They went on without them in bare feet! Crystal said the stage floor was pretty slippery so it wasn't a big deal. We did find them a week later just sitting on top of Jay's train table. Guess none of us thought to check his room! Haha. They all did a fantastic job. I was one proud Momma!!! Now we are off till September! Hopefully we remember to keep practicing and stretching through the summer! These girls sure do love dance!
My little girl graduated from Kindergarten! Lily loved her teacher Mrs. Schaafs and the classroom aide Mrs. Emery! She is really going to miss being in their class! The kids sang some songs for us and had a little graduation ceremony. It was really sweet! Now on to first grade! But not before we have a lot of summer fun!!! (Can you tell I'm excited for summer? haha)
HAIR CUT
Crystal has been awaiting the end of dance for the season so that she could get her hair cut! She's been asking for months and she wanted to show her friends at school before the end of the year, so the night before the last day of school I chopped her hair off! I actually cut it shorter than I meant to (always) but it was exactly where she wanted it cut to so I guess it all worked out. Haha.
