TRAFALGA
On Tuesday I took the kids to Trafalga in Lehi to play on the kiddie rides. They usually have 5 or 6 rides the little kids can get on. Unfortunately only 2 of them were open when we got there, but the girls still had a blast. They ran from one to the other for over an hour! There was also a little play area that Jay enjoyed playing in!
CONSULTNET PARTY
Ty had another company party this week. The company he works for hired him through another company that actually writes out his paycheck. Since he's working days now, he was able to go to a Consultnet company party for the first time in the nearly 5 years he's been working here. They had a bouncy house water toy (though the water part didn't actually work, haha, the girls were still glad they got to wear their swimming suits!) and face painting! Lily chose a butterfly and Crystal chose a Frozen pattern. Aren't they adorable? :) They had a lot of giveaways and only 40ish people so we were hoping we'd win something... like the 51 in TV haha. We didn't win anything but the food was good and the girls had a ton of fun! Crystal even got to draw some of the tickets for the giveaway!
We stopped at Cabela's on the way home. The girls love walking around and looking at all the animals. We even discovered the aquarium (yes we have never seemed to notice it during previous visits).
ORANGEVILLE, UTAH
I only took one picture of this trip and it was just a cute pic of Jay playing with my Uncle's fishing poles. I wish I had thought to take more. My Grandma Christian (Gordon) who lives in Texas was visiting family in Orangeville, and my parents and I made a trip to see her before she headed back. We also had a nice visit with my Grandpa Sitterud. I always enjoy the time I get to spend with my grandparents. I really should make the short trip to Orangeville to visit my Grandpa more often! This trip was way too short. We got there Friday afternoon and I had to leave Saturday morning to make it back for Crystal's Tball game.
BEAN MUSEUM
We missed our Friday Fieldtrip to the Bean Museum because we were out of town, so after Crystal's tball game we decided to go ourselves. It was fun to see the new and improved museum! There were so many new exhibits! I was very impressed and am excited to have an affordable (aka free) museum to take the kids to again!
RANDOM PICTURES OF THE WEEK
Just one pic this week. Ignore my messy room/hallway/bathroom. Haha. Adorable pic of Jay, but the reason I took it was to point out that "Bo Peep" who has been in the family since Crystal was born is still serving her purpose in life. Who knew a little stuffed lamb could be so loved by so many babies? She was a favorite to both Crystal and Lily and now Jay as well!
