SUNDAY
Grandma Leslie and Papa Scott bought the kids Easter outfits! She gave them to them a little early because of a very special occasion! Papa Scott was called to be the Bishop in their ward last week! We all went to support him... and show off the Easter outfits of course. ;-) Jay did NOT cooperate for pictures though. Haha.
TIME OUT FOR WOMEN
I saw that Time out for Women was in Idaho Falls the weekend before my birthday so I sent a link to my sweet Momma and asked her if she'd take me for my birthday! She thought it was a great idea and then she said I could bring my sisters-in-law too! So we made a party of it! My sister in law's mom was in town for the weekend so she came with us too! The more the merrier! We really did have a good time. I'm so glad we were able to go! It was nice to have a little break from the kids and chaos and enjoy some spiritual and uplifting time together. I even went to Leo's Place for lunch WITHOUT the kids. lol. It felt different not having to chase Jay around the entire time I was there. :D I also got some much needed practice taking selfies. lol.
Great view!
I got pretty close to him but Nicole wasn't going to share!
RANDOM PICTURES
Helping me fold our mounds of clean laundry after TOFW. He got our weeks and weeks worth of laundry all clean while I was out having fun at TOFW. Oh yeah and I have a new washer! The old one started having the same problem it was having before so we got a new one! It's an upright one. I didn't want to deal with the mold and mildew from the front loader again.
Grandma got out the car track for the cousins to play with!
We are trying to ween him from the binky during the day, so I told him if he had his binky he had to take a nap. He squeezed his eyes shut tight and put his head into the carseat like he was sleeping. It was funny.
As we were leaving their house to go see the other grandparents on Sunday, Crystal showed us the rock she 'made.' "Mom! Look at the rock I made. It's main ingredient is ... a rock! And then you mix it with all different colors of dirt and mud to get it to stick!" Haha. And then she said she was going to give it to Grandma and Papa Gordon. (YAY! One less rock to find lying around my house!)
60's, 70's, and 80's day at school!
My niece was enjoying the sandbox a little too much. Haha. This was the SECOND time we found her this way that day. lol. Her parents obviously aren't feeding her enough. ;-)
Went out to grab my phone after we had gone to bed and I caught them sleeping on the same couch. This is serious progress people! haha!
