SPRING
Well friends spring has sprung! I'm so excited that our new tree survived the winter! And I'm even more excited that it is so pretty right now! Haha! Also, I finally relented and let the kids play in the water. Haha. They are a little crazy. It's warm but not THAT warm. lol. Crystal's school had a Spring Carnival with face painting, art projects, games, and food! We all had a good time and even won 2 of the raffles (art bundle and movie popcorn bucket)! We decided to try out a new restaurant recently. Lucy's Pizzeria! Our pizza was very burned so they made another and it was only slightly burned. Haha. Apparently their pizza is usually on the burned side which is really too bad because the pizza really had great potential. Haha. And the kids LOVED LOVED LOVED that they could draw on the table. I'm actually trying to figure out how to make my kitchen table drawable like this! Haha!
Sunday at my parents house we were eating out back and a cat came into the yard. The kids were so excited to see a new pet and we were all surprised when they didn't chase her away!!! She was seriously the FRIENDLIEST cat I'd ever encountered! I kinda wanted to take her home!!! She not only let Lily carry her around the entire yard, but when we made her put the cat down, she continued to follow Lily everywhere!! Lol. The cat jumped the fence after a while and then 30 minutes later she CAME BACK!!!!! We were all shocked that she'd come back after the mauling she got! Haha. She went right to Lily and sat in her lap! Why can't MY cat be that way!!??!?!? lol. Later when we got home Lily kept talking about her new cat at Grandma's house. Haha. The girls also got to sleep in their new bunk beds Sunday night as well! It was a pretty eventful day!
We made our first trip to the zoo this week! All the animals were out. Jay loved the tiger!!!! Lily wanted to see the monkeys most! And Crystal wanted to pet the goats but they were closed unfortunately. Mostly I think they enjoyed being out with cousins!!!
KINDERGARTEN?!?!?!
Lily had Kindergarten Roundup this week. She did great! I was a little worried because some days she's sounding out words for me, and other days I can't get her to tell me the name of a letter. Lol. She even got a 3 on behavior! On paper this girl looks like an angel! HAHAHA! And with that sweet smile, they'll have no idea what they are in for!!! I'm just kidding. She has her moments, but in reality she wants nothing more than to be a good little girl! I can't believe she's going to kindergarten this fall!!!
