To break up the long drive, and because Crystal had a 4th grade national park pass that we wanted to use more than one, we made a very quick stop at The Arches on our way home. It was mesmerizing and I wish we would have had more time to spend driving through the park. We were only there for 2 hours, but the kids still managed to fill out their booklets and once again become Junior Rangers. We walked up so we could stand under one of the arches. The kids were of course way ahead of us and when I got up the steepest part of it, I almost had a heart attack to find a large drop off on the other side of the arch. I'm glad none of the kids took a plunge. It was terrifying! Jay also go a hold of my phone at some point and took about 50 pictures of himself, his pop can and a small toy he had found in the mess of the expedition we had been traveling in for the past 2 weeks. I only included a few of those pics. lol.
