Priest Lake Summer 2012

We were able to go to Priest Lake with Ty's family this summer! Ty has talked about his summers at Priest Lake when he was a kid and was very excited to be able to share those experiences with the girls and me. We spent almost all our time hanging out in the sun on the beach. The girls LOVED playing in the lake!

The Parachute. This was the campsite we'd all meet for family gatherings.

Lily was hard to keep track of. She just wanted to explore everywhere!

Crystal had tons of fun playing with her cousins!

 The lake!

Ty took Crystal out on the kayak a few times. She loved it.

It was hard convincing her to stop to eat let alone stop long enough to take a nap!!!!

She is my little fish. Unfortunately she has NO fear of the water. I was a nervous wreck the first few days!

Ty and I jumping of the end of the dock ... the water was COLD!

She wanted to jump off like everyone else but she wasn't brave enough to go off the end... in fact the very front of the dock was good enough for her (one foot of water. lol)

Ty convinced her to go out farther. By the end of the week she'd jump by herself from about that point. Just enough to touch the bottom.

Movie night. The Muppets.

Ty diving off the pole.

One day we went on a little hike! The made it to the top! Lily insisted on walking most of the way!

Sucker from the Candy Wagon.

She loves dirt as much as she does water (dirt and suckers don't mix well)

This is the candy wagon. According to Ty the only rule is that you can't say no. Lily didn't quite understand this rule thank goodness or we would have been in trouble. Crystal caught on rather quickly!

Hanging out with Grandma and Daddy

Lily really loved jumping off the side even though she had a hard time getting over the side rail.

This girl makes me nervous!

Papa took us fishing one day while we were there. The path was 'a little' wet from rain.

Daddy and Lily fishing.

Papa caught a frog!

Crystal's fish! They caught quite a bit but this one didn't make it, so we had a little taste test when we got home!

July 4th!

Grandma and Grandpa LaPray and their grandchildren (and great grandchildren) who were at Priest Lake this year!
