We spent a day on USS Midway. The guys were all in heaven. I thought it was a fun experience, but I'm 28 weeks pregnant and my feet hurt after the first few hours. lol. Day one on our trip and I was already sore. I was a little concerned!!!
Under the glass was a VERY large drop off. It was a little scary to stand on and look down. Crystal had a hard time convincing herself to stand up and not crawl!
Lily surprisingly was a little scared too! lol!
The next day we spent at San Diego Safari Park. We had a ton of fun! (Let me tell you, my feet REALLY REALLY hurt by the end of the day. lol.) We did a lot of walking and overlapping ... it was okay though cuz it meant we got to walk passed the Gorillas 3 or 4 times. ;-) The hot tub at the hotel was keeping my sore feet at bay. I was very glad when the house we rented in Anaheim also had a hot tub to soak my sore feet in every night! Its definitely what kept me going!
The gorilla's were super active while we were there. The baby gorilla was playing, irritating his dad, and climbing all over the place!

Our bats!
Yes. You are seeing that right. A cheetah just walked by!
They had a cheetah run. This was the best picture Ty could get. I was impressed he managed to get the Cheetah in the picture!
Elephants
Our last day in San Diego we spent at Sea World. I mapped out the place the night before this time so we wouldn't have to overlap as much as we did at the Safari Park. We were able to see most of the attractions and almost all of the shows, though we had to move fast most of the day to get it all in!
Polar Bear Cave!
After we left Sea World we made the drive to Anaheim and checked into the house my parents had rented. The house was just around the corner from the Disneyland parking lot, so every morning we would walk to the parking lot and take the tram to the park! My parents got park hopper tickets for us so we were able to go to both Disneyland and California Adventure. We spent one day at each and then the last day we split our time between the two riding our favorite rides or ones we didn't get to the other two days.
Day 1: DISNEYLAND
We of course HAD to ride the carousel!
And of course DUMBO!
Tea Cups!
We did A LOT of walking!
Look who we ran into!
At first Lily was afraid of the characters, but it was funny because she didn't WANT to be afraid of them. She would almost laugh and cry at the same time. She wanted to be his friend but she was scared of him at the same time. We started off easy with high fives. By the end of the trip she was giving them hugs!
Crystal was just in AWE!
The gym in Toontown!
The Toontown Fire Department
Lily and I visited with Pluto while the other kids rode a ride that she wasn't quite tall enough for (unless u ask the doctors office, then she's a full inch taller than the minimum requirement. We learned Disneyland's yard stick is totally rigged. lol)
Goofy! (he was trying to go on break but Crystal was following him. He was nice enough to stop for a quick photo op!)
The girls were SO good all day (we were 4 days into a very exhausting trip) that Ty wanted to treat them to something fun, so we stopped for ice cream on our way out of the park! Lily made sure we didn't leave any in the bowl.
She really didn't want to leave any behind! lol.
Day 2: CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE
A bugs life: Ladybug ride!
Lily warming up to Mickey Mouse! She even gave him a kiss!!!
Family Pic with Mickey!
Jake walked passed and stopped to visit!
Crystal wasn't shy at all!
Lily was loving it too!
Waiting for a show!
DAY 3: Disneyland and California Adventure
Photo Op with Stitch (we missed Minnie Mouse by 5 seconds. We waited while they switched places... it was sad) But the girls loved stitch!
Grandma, Grandpa and the grandchildren (minus one. My little brother was MIA at the time. lol)
Mad Hatter's Chairs (notice Papa in the background... he looks exhausted and the day has only begun! lol)
We're all Super Heroes!
Crystal insisted on going back for a hug!
Crystal had been begging for a picture in front of the Mickey flowers since we had gotten there so we thought we'd better get one before we left!
We met the princesses! The girls were SO excited!
Lily was showing her the Disney princess shirt she was wearing!
Cinderella!
Snow White!
Aurora!
Tinkerbell's front door at Pixie Hallow!
Pixie Hallow
Family picture in front of Tinkerbell's home!
We managed to get ONE family picture before our Disney Vacation was over!
Minnie's Chair!
Minnie's Kitchen!
Drinking hot chocolate on Minnie's patio!
Mickey's House!
Pluto's bed!
Mickey's Garden!
What's this? Somehow we ended up in the front of a line to have a special photo op with Mickey (we really don't know how we ended up in here. lol)
Crystal suddenly had an obsession with Mickey's ear.
They we worried she was going to pull it off at one point I think. I had to ask her to let go! lol!
Family Picture with Mickey!
Goofy's House!
Goofy's Yard had a small playground. The girls loved it!
Donald's Boat!
The last night we waited in the cold weather (without the sun even 45-50 degrees gets to you) for over an hour for the fireworks. Crystal LOVES fireworks. But the show was cancelled do to winds at high altitudes. Poor Crystal was devastated ... and freezing. We compromised by walking through the gift shop to get each of them a toy. But by the time we got there they were both asleep in the stroller, so Ty and I got to pick their toy for them ;-). I almost didn't make it back to the house the last night. My pregnant body had had enough. lol. Good thing it was the last day! We had tons of fun! Thanks Grandma and Papa Gordon for the wonderful trip!!!!!
Looking at your pictures of Disneyland makes me want to take Reese. She would love seeing all of the characters! Looks like you guys had a blast! I am a little jealous of your vacation! ;o)
